What You Need to Know About Aimee the Attorney
Aimee Gromowsky uses her extensive knowledge of the law, empathy and compassion to fight for her clients. Formerly an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Jackson County and currently a private practice lawyer, Ms.Gromowsky has over 19 years of experience in Kansas and Missouri courts and handles thousands of cases in the Kansas City, Missouri area every year.
Ms. Gromowsky earned her Juris Doctorate at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 1999 and has since dedicated her life to the law and helping those in need. She was honored by Missouri Lawyers Media with the Women in Justice Pro-Bono Award in 2020 and by the Kansas City Business Journal for the Best in Bar award 2007 and 2008.
Ms. Gromowsky has previously served as Commissioner on the Kansas City Board of Parks and Recreation (2011-2013) as well as the Jackson County Sports Complex Authority (2013-17). She served on the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association in multiple positions, including Chair, Vice-Chair, and a Municipal Court Committee member (2012-2015). Most recently she was appointed by Governor Michael Parsons to serve on the Kansas City Board of Elections.
Aimee currently volunteers her services to multiple charities, including The Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association Military Matters, Amethyst Place, and Operation Breakthrough. She served as the Vice-Chair of the Greater K.C. Women’s Political Caucus (2005-2007) and was the President of the Parent-Teacher Organization at Christ The King School (2011-2013).
Ms. Gromowsky has dedicated hundreds of hours of work for Foster-Adopt Connect, working with young adults who have aged out of the foster care system to reinstate licenses, clear warrants, and assist with general law counseling and needs.
