General Information

Platte County Associate Circuit Court handles all traffic tickets issued by the Missouri Highway Patrol in Platte County and the Platte County Sheriff’s Department.

The Prosecutor will amend your ticket to a Defective Equipment.  A Defective Equipment is a non-moving violation and will not be on your record.  This ticket will not be reported to the Department of Revenue.  Most speeding tickets in Platte County do not require an appearance.
